Australia has always had a healthy appetite for cold beer and it
would appear that the increase in beer sales has been driven mostly by
the growth of the Australian population.
However, in recent years
there has been a notable change in the amount that consumers are willing
to spend on their beer, and in fact what type of beer they are looking
for!? The demand is now very much for different beers for different
occasions, which in turn is pushing brewers to quickly develop more
tastes and styles to cater for this growing trend.
There are four
main categories in the Australian beer market - Full Strength, Mid
Strength, Light and Premium, and even though Full Strength beer still
holds over 50% of the market share there is definitely a clear path of
change.
The demand for Low Carb has increased with people looking
for a "healthier alternative without changing their lifestyle" and with
consumers trying more premium and craft beers than ever before,
statistics now show that Premium beers have been the fastest growing of
the four types with now nearly 20% of the split share - an increase seen
only in the last few years.
Most of the traditional full strength
beers are sold in either 375ml Stubby or 375ml can, with the 330ml
bottle becoming increasingly common, particularly among microbreweries,
premium and craft beers.
With all this is mind it is very
important that each beer you try is enjoyed at its optimum drinking
temperature - the ideal serving temperature for beer is derived from its
method of fermentation and although much is left to personal
preference, a beer cooler (stubby holder) will certainly help to keep
your beer in the optimum temperature range for longer!
Aside
from being able to create a stylish design to wrap around your drink,
the job of any bottle insulator is to keep the drink within the optimum
ranges for as long as possible, so all those subtle tones that beer
alchemists labour over can be best appreciated by you. And with the
increase in premium beers and the use of a 330ml bottle you can trust
that a Coolaz Beer Cooler will be sure to fit your beer of choice!
